How did five primary school students, with no prior acting experience, manage to perform so well in a movie?
Wish to learn about the magic behind the movie?
Everybody (almost) loves movies. Watching movies is one of the most popular entertainments in the world. Many would wonder what goes on behind the scenes and the process of filmmaking. This June holiday, we will be holding a unique filmmaking workshop to share the secrets of filmmaking. This workshop is an introductory course that marks a student’s first foray into the art of storytelling and writing through camera lenses. It allows students explore their imagination and widen their scope seeing the world through camera viewfinders. They will have a chance to learn acting in front of the camera too.
Based on the methods used in the movie The Wayang Kids, the students will acquire the knowledge on: - The various components that make up a movie - The art of animation, stop-motion, visual effects, virtual reality, motion capture, etc - Telling an effective story on screen - Camera Confidence (how Youtubers get their confidence! DOs and DON’Ts) - Media ethics and integrity
Movies have the power to make an emotional connection with humans. We strive to enable young people experience this power through education. Come join this exciting workshop and find out for yourself!
This is the practical experience they cannot learn in school. Sign up our newsletter for notification of our workshops.
