Q&A

Here are some common questions for reserving online screening.
FAQ

Q1.
How does the 48-hour window work?
A1.  School will be given a unique link to access the films online.  School decides a starting date/time for students to log in.  This link will expire 48 hours later.  It is imperative to remind students to watch the films within the given window.  No extension will be entertained.  The session can start at any date/time, but usually begins in the afternoon.  The unique link can be given days in advance upon request.

Q2.
Can we change the start date/time after it is confirmed?
A2.
Yes you can, as long as you give us 24 hours advance notice prior to the scheduled date/time.

Q3.  What is the charges for full movie preview?
A3.  There is no charge for full movie preview, but you have to identify a specific date/time as the window to watch the film is 4 hours each.

Q4.  Will there be any additional charges if school decided not to subscribe the movie after the preview?
A4.  No, there is no obligation to book the movie after the preview.

Q5.  If I want to hold a post-screening discussion with the artists, who can I engage and what topic can I discuss?
A5.  To add more excitement for the families, we offer a chance to video chat with the cast of the films.  Preferably the cast you choose resides in Singapore.  The list includes Kym Ng, Suhaimi Yusof, May Phua, Chen Tianwen, or any of the young cast, pending on the availability of the artist.  The duration is not more than 30 minutes.  Fees are around $300-$600.  Topics range on how they decided to take part in the project, their journeys in making the films, what they considered a critical learning point, etc.

Q6.
Can the students and families watch the films on their TV?
A6.
With the technology advancing, there are many ways viewers can project contents from their phones/laptops to smart TV.  The process is called mirror or cast.  There are many tutorials and resources online.

We do not accept direct calls from students.  We appreciate schools to consolidate all the questions from students and call us at 6591 8862.  One of our staff will attend to the calls and respond with a solution soonest.
